THE STORY OF DESIREE AND DAVID

You all know the story, but sometimes we forget how crazy the last nine and half world-hopping years have been! 

Desiree and David met online (no not one of those sites, a shadier website called MySpace!)  David had written some music that he was rather proud of, but nobody wanted to listen to it. So he begrudgingly set up a MySpace profile, he gave himself a name and posted a track. He then waited. Desiree stumbled across the music. She was the first person to ever listen and send a message!

After a a few complimentry comments from Desiree… and after David had noticed her beautiful Californian smile, and the sunshine in the back of her profile pic, he decided to go visit Desiree in California!

Feeling the most nervous he’d ever felt, he hopped on a plane to San Francisco and got drunk, during the flight he started to wonder if this was one of those stories you read about when somebody gets their kidneys stolen.

After landing David was walking down Powell Street, when suddenly out of a doorway popped Desiree and gave him a kiss! The nerves started to disappear and they both spent a whirlwind week around Sacramento and the surrounding areas.

After deciding to start the longest of long distance relationships, they started traveling back and forth between California and England for the next 9 years. Something in the region of 60 return trips have been made, and countless holiday trips, (roughly 660,000 miles flown).

We got Engaged on one of the European trips in the beautiful city of Seville in Southern Spain in 2016, and here we are today, now wed on the 19th April 2019.
